you can find out 2 ways.

1) your neighbors might not like this but. dump the clutch do a burn out. if you get 2 nice even skid marks. chances are you have LSD. if you peg leg it. and get one mark its open diff.

2) jack the car up so both back wheels are off the ground. spin one side, and check to see if the other side is spinning the same way.

Thanks for the tips. I rushed out there, jacked the car up and turned one of the rear wheels, they both went the same way so I guess I've got it. I didn't do the skid marks bit! I often wondered what the LSD stood for at the end of the model name. I've unearthed loads of articles about it so I'll go and have a good read now and see what I've got that I didn't know about.
