Wheels-rims for 1st gens
I am looking to get rims for my first gen and I was wondering what wheels fit on first gens? I know the pattern is 4 lugs, but I am not sure what the offset is and was wondering if older aftermarket honda or toyota wheels would fit on a first gen. If anyone knows the offset of any of these cars listed above's lug pattern please hook me up.

4x110 with a 25mm offset. There's a good site that lists bolt patterns, wheel sizes, models & years at

Fitting Rims
I've put 16" Enkei RSE rims on my '85 SE running low-profile Pirelli P7000s. They're a 7 spoke, simulated-split rim style.
The tire shop squawked that there was only an 1/8th of an inch clearance between the front tire and the strut, but I've had them on for 4,000 kms with no - as in zip, zilch, nada, none - rubbing or scuffing on the tire or rim.
To order I just tracked down a place that carries Enkeis, told them the year and make of the car (emphisizing it's a GSL-SE) and they confirmed the rims will fit the chassis.
They look absolutely brilliant on this older body style. I've seen newer Hondas and Nissans wearing the 5 bolt version, but on those swoopy cars the 7 spoke just looks wrong.
Incidentally, the day after I got them (a) I got my oil changed and the technician loved the rims so much he threw in a free rad flush and (b) I pulled up next to a stock 2nd gen and the hot 18 year old in the passenger seat looked at my car and its rims, nodded approval, and flashed a smile at me that made her boyfriend sulk.

Is anyone looking for some aftermarket 4x110 wheels?. They are A/R style 534's, 13x7. These wheels are used but are in like brand new shape, they are not bent anywhere and have no curb rash!. I cleaned them up real good and they look brand new!. As for any of you spec. 7 guy these are Spec. 7 legal and are the better 13x7, so you can mount wider tires on them!. If anyone is interested please E-mail me at RaveEuser@aol.com. They have been listed on the partstrader twice now and both people wanting them fell through. I really want to sell these soon so I can pay back Badassrx-7 some money I owe him!. $300. OBO+ shiping. Only serious buyers E-mail me for a picture. Thanks Jami

I bought 15X7 Panasports for my '85 GS. Out of all of the rims available for a 4x110mm bolt pattern, I think they look the best. Visit their web site at: www.panasport.com

yeah panasports are GREAT.. racers at Waterford Hills (and all over the SCCA) swear by 'em. If you want cheap and somewhat light, get Diamond Racing steel wheels. Only problem with those is they can't be balanced by the center hole, need to be by the lugs.

Hasty Pic
Here's a snap I just took of the rims. It's night and I hadda stand in the street to do it so it's a bit grainy and blurry. I hope to have a better one for ya tomorrow as this one doesn't show the detail nor do the 7 spokes justice - they really do transform the car quite nicely.
Here's the same ReX with the stock rims. Anyone wanna buy 'em? email me.

Anyone have a set of Snypers for sale!?!?! I need them ASAP, Im putting new tires on SOON, and I dont wanna buy tires for the stock rims, then go and get different rims and need new tires again, but I cant drive my car until I get the tires (I have another car Im driving right now), so you may see my problem. Any leads would be great. Thanks.

mine are out of style they're a cheap knockoff of the late '80s trans-am's option wheels. made by PRIME i think. they don't make them anymore, as i found out after i tossed a centercap
i think they look sharp on the car when the rim is polished up. i just have to find a way to clean off the textured finish. they're a royal pain.
