Which wheels do you like better on my FB?
Ok people...
The white wheels are Motegi MR7's - 17", with 205/40/17 Yokohama Parada Spec II tires.
The wheels in my sig are MotoFORM 15" with some ghetto brand tires on them.
Opinions?
Oh, and if they look odd, its because they're not actually attached to my car....just in front of the 15" wheels. I played with lighting and the camera settings to make them look like they're on the car.

They were 16's. I really wish i would have left the exterior of that car alone anyway, it was too perfect to ruin like i did. I didn't even know what a GSL-SE was though until i joined this forum and had already ruined the car.
My wheels had a "dish" anyway.

the 17's look horrible. it' looks lke those SUV's with the huge rims and really low profiles. so low that if they smakced a curb the rim is ruined. i think that 16's are the biggest rimt o go on our 7's

larger diameter wheels move the etcintric weight of the wheel towards the outside..making it hard to turn, thereby reducing your horsepower at the wheels. from a performance standpoint...larger wheels are almost never better. go with the 15" for sure..both looks and performance wise for the FB.

Ok, I think they both look ok... here's the problem... from a performance standpoint. - when going around corners, your tires need to flex to keep from sliding. if they don't flex, which they won't with that little bit of tire, you will easily slide, while with the 15's, you won't.
If you are just going for the ricer- "hey, you can see my coil springs through my rims" look, then yeah, go for it, but I wouldn't just because of what I said before.
Also, one other thing to look at... as I mentioned, you'll be able to see your coil springs VERY easily. You'll need to clean them up to make it look "ok" and even then it would look funny with the tiny (in comparison) brake rotors.
