well, that does sound like you've got it light enough that mid-low 14's are possible... sweet deal!

V8kilr reminds me of John Minos who used to terrorize all the pure stock musclecar races back in the late '90s. His '68 Firebird ran in the 12's to the horror of all the other competitors who could only get their stock rides into the 13's even with factory Hemi's and 454's. They always tore down his engine after every big money meet and the damn engine was ALWAYS stock right down to the unported heads. No one believed 12's were possible with a stock Pontiac 400 cid engine just like everyone here is having a hard time believing V8kilr's stockport 12A can run the number. If he's got the tuning time and the cash to play with dual MSD's, I'd bet just about everything outside of that engine has probably been optimized for drag racing. Some people are just more serious than others about straight line performance...

Low 14's LOL on a 12A with those mods....
I agree with RXCETERA on this one, It takes more than that to hit those numbers... Those HP calculators and 1/4 time generators on websites aren't as accurate as you seem to think. There are guys out here with Highly modified 13b's that don't run low 14's.

12A stock runs 17 seconds...

I do not know what My 1/4mile time is. However, I have measured stock 0-60 with a stop watch and found it to be consistantly around 9-10seconds.

I have modd'd to a mildport with it in the 7-8second range and to finally a bridgeport now. I have got a average 0-60 of about 6.7seconds with a best time of 6.2 with a better launching. I am certain there are ways at improving this like with a light flywheel, optimal intake, proper jetting and exhuat. All this is considering if I am any good at using a stop watch and what rpm to dump the clutch at of course.
