Heat has not be an issue for me. You can feel the air (you can tell it's flowing through very freely) and the air is fairly hot at the tips. Therefore, the heat is going straight out the tailpipe I assume.
I can't argue the fact that the Pacesetter muffler wasn't designed specially for the Rotary b/c I'm sure Pacesetter didn't waste the engineering time on it. If I had extra cash I'd go RB system all the way-no doubt. But, for short funds, the Pacesetter is MUCH better than OEM I must say.

The VB mufflers are junk pace setter mufflers. They are ok for anyother car besides a 7 due to the heat a rotary makes.
