Not every historian... how many people even KNOW about the S500/S600/S800 for example? And THOSE cars also have the ddistinction of being Honda's first production cars.

Between people half-assedly modding their cars, people stripping them down to turn into ITA or Spec 7 or Pro7 or whatever racers, and general decay, there won't be very many RX-7s left in the near future, and the ones that will be left won't be worth anything except as parts cars (parts for what?) and basically what we do with them today.
