Well i got this friend who has a 5.0L mustang and he rags on me about me being a rotary guy and how a V8 is better then anything. Then he called my car a ricer car and then i just had it. So i want to race him a beat him and i want to know if me having a full exhaust and a worked nikki on my freshly done streetport 12A if i could beat him. He is basicly stock excpet for flowmaster muffflers, just muffler not a catback. I hope it's not impossible to beat him.

So what does everything think?

Itl'l be tough. What year is it? Invest in a decent set of sticky tires that will help you alot, especially if he has all seasons.

 

i beat a trans am ram air with my 84 gls se 13b all stock and a bad cluth ,make sure you got a good cluth and having a full exaust will help u have to be a good driver and know you car in my caR i got a good third gear so thats how i beat him twice. first and second gear sucks cause the bad cluth.

 

Take him out in the twisty and show him what the 7s were designed for. Then tell him to stfu.

I say just laugh and walk off when he taunts you.
Theres nothing to be proved here. It's a V8 against a 1.1 ltr engine. It's like a school yard bully picking on a 10 year old when he is 14.
Who cares what he says or thinks.
His car is built for 0-60 and 1/4 miles times, ours are not, unless we do heavy modding to them.
Personally I wouldn't waste may gas on the guy.

 

Invite him to a day at an autocross event. There, at least, you will probably leave him humilitated...

 

you should take him on the twisty road and see how long it takes before u lose sight of him...trust me i have a fried that has a 5.0 and i almost beat him in a steright line with my SE my compression was low so with good mime shure i could have smoked him then i took him out to our industrial area where there is no steright line and he kept up for all of 30 seconds then he tried a little to hard and lost it....long story short he stfu about the rotary and he had to pay 1000 for the repait of the front of his car for thinking he could beat the REX
