Question What if? Think!

What would you drive or tinker with if the RX7 had never been thought of???

Probably an old school Datsun 1600 with an SR20DET. Or an Escort RS2000.

Actually, if it wasn't an Rx-7 it would probably be an R-100, Rx-2 or Rx-3.

I'd be driving either a mid 90's Mustang, or a 240sx.

Haha, technically that question doesnt rule out RX-2's, 3's, 4's, Cosmo's, or REPU's. So being the rotary lover I am...one of those. LOL

Here I though everybody was in love with their car's unique engine and it turns out a bunch of you just liked the shape of the car. LOL I love sevens but they're too small, if they didn't have a Rotary engine I woudn't give it the time of day. You can guess how I feel about Datsun Z cars. If I'm driving or tinkering with something else it's gonna be one of my Thunderbird SC's or Big Block Siverado HD.

Vernon
P.S. I'm 5'10" and 179 lbs. but I like my space.

we all do like the engine, that's why we have rx7's and not z cars

Very interesting reply's, I no longer drive an RX for now and am driving a 1991 240SX. I am very surprised at the amount of votes for the 240, before I got this car I never even considered one or even looked at one. I must say though it is a very nice car, handles well and is quite good looking. I will once again have a rotary but for now this is a nice way to go.
