Question what is going on????

ok guys i just wanted to start out buy saying this site is the ****. i work like 8-12 hours on aircraft and when i come home i cant wait to find **** out about my 7. i know its a lil sad but hey its true. anyways i have noticed when i have either been idling a lil bit or just finished doggin the 7 and i go and turn ofand remove the key the tach fiddles around in the 2500 range and it sounds like the over rev buzzer giong off . the motor is off the key is out everything is off but it buzzes and tach fluctuates (a few seconds of this like 1-5) then nothing.??????????????????? at first i though it could be diesling but the motor is not running, turning over nothing. is this a possible ignition problem? some help would be great. ohh yeah i just ordered the kyb struts 4, k&n, those 4 lil o-rings for oil/cooler tower and a drain pan gasket, and fuel, filter, im a lil stoked to see the small handling improvments.

sounds like the gears in the tach might be sticking, mine did the samething during the winter, i took it apart cleaned it well, and had no problems since.

Well now we only have B717's. We used to have B737-200's and DC-9-30's, but they are gone. We will be getting B737-700's in a few months. A6's? Never been in the service, but them are some badass planes. Knew a few guys who flew them in Nam (before my time), when they were a state of the art attack plane, very rugged airframe. Oh and the website is above my sig if your interested in a carb. Contact me thru there.

Sounds like an electrical problem. I mean its after you turn the car off and the buzzer sounds, the buzzer is designed to go off at high RPMs that is unless of course it gets power to it and then VIOLA it sounds.....my opinion

You sure the fuse for the gauges is good? When mine falls out (every couple of months) all the gauges go dead and the buzzer buzzes, but the car starts and runs fine.
