That came out a bit harsher than I thought now that I look at it, what I meant is:
The post-whoring limit for one page of posts is one post of absolute nonsense... any more and you have to add something beneficial to the conversation.
For instance, had you just said the FIRST comment, then it'd be alright, but the 2nd and 3rd made it a little repetetive and annoying...
If you'd added a tidbit of information after the second one, then maybe it'd be tolerable... but please, keep the funnies to a minimum around here, as it just clutters up threads and uses more bandwidth...

Peejay---the problem with the 'Insider' story is that it does not stand up when compared with facts.
X did not stand for export, witness the RX-85, RX-87, RX-500 and my favorite the RX-792. In the factory the project designations were [usually!] X for planning/non production and P for production. I am not certain where the 787 fitted in. To confuse the issue are the R15 and R16 cars, Would you drive the R360?
I personally think marketing had a major hand in the matter, just as when the RX-7 designation was carried on for the gen 2 and 3. With the RX-7 they had it both ways as the Japanese model was initially also badged as the Savanna. The Infini is also interesting as it was not badged as an RX-7 but the advertisements called it one to gain marketing acceptance
