shut up beeotches i havent wired the switched yet.... its not rice
and who said anything about "MODIFICATION"
its custom because it is unique to my tastes....
AND I DONT ******* HAVE 2 CIGARETTE LIGHTERS...
the one switch will be wired to my fogs.... and the other possibly wired to either my coils as a kill switch. or i might use the tailgate flame idea! hehehe
so RICE OFF BITCHES!

youll need both switches to do that "tailgate flame idea" well you COULD use one but the wiring would be a little bit mroe tricky adn it jsut owuldent be as cool as having 2 switches the throw falmes out your exhaust..

Hey, I really like the flame thrower idea. You have to admit, that would be cool as hell to roast someone's front bumper!!
Fog lights are always a good add-on.
As far as RICE goes, how is it rice to be proud of your Rotary? I think that's an awesome cosmetic add-on for the interior. Props to you, Greg.

uhh i am not going to use those as kill switches.... if i have a kill switch it will be one switch that deactivates the coils and the fuel pump possibly the igniters..

But if you ASK for opinions, you should be prepared for them, whether they are negative or complimentary. BTW, I never once said the word "rice".

Right on.

uhh no. the siwtch to turn off the main coils is to stop the gas from combusting in your engine so it goes through to tail pipe unbirned then ya flip the switch for the igniter to the aprk plug in your tailpipe to produce the whole flamethrower effect, i guess it could be used as sorta a kill switch aswell

S'okay, Gregs. I let some rice creep into my interior as well
Note the cargo net, body coloured console & switchplate, brushed stainless stereo surround/cubbyhole, and black vinyl shift boot with interior-colured burgundy stitching (you hafta look reeeeally close for that). All mods that do nothing to make the car faster, but just my way of making her mine...

Gregs,
Too be honest, the toggle switches are an eye sore, I'd say re work the whole intire plate. Or buy a spare while you redo one. First off the radio will be much more accessable above even if you do have to cut metal, (long run it's worth it) Think about when you are feeding the cdplayer a cd..... Second you could bondo and fiberglass some holes for 3 guages across the bottom.
Or **** the guages and just get a double din deck and it'd fill that area up. That's what I did even though I have the other dash board.
You did a good job so far, I mean no-offence but I don't like the look of the toggle switches in general.
I have an Ignited starter button where the choke lever is supposed to be (EGI). and Between the 2 a/c controls is a a/f guage which is way into the rich area! LOL
hope that give you some ideas.....
P.S. the a/f guage is flush mounted.

i was thinking of the double deck thing
but you series 3 guys have a completley different centerconsole that series 2....
i think i might put a cd deck up top and leave the little storage bin in the bottom (i have a spare centerconsole that is cut out for a cd deck and has the lower storage bin)
i just put the toggles there until i could think of what to use them for.. they do kinda stick out a bit but theres really nothin more i could do with those holes...

RICE RICE RICE RICE lolol J/K
But seriously it looks cool sa far but how are you going to wire it to the igniters or coils to shut it off, that would mean that you would have to use the other switch for the spark plug in the tail pipe? And where can i get a cargo net at they're pretty cool maybe it would prevent stuff from sliding around as much

I bought my one-size-fits-all universal cargo net for about $10 or so, if memory serves ($CDN, not $USD).
I screwed the upper corner hooks into the lower forward corner of the triangular window trim, using the stock screw hole. I ran the middle of the cargo net (it's folded in half - creates a handy pocket for papers so they don't blow around when the window is open) underneath the metal strip that secures the front of the carpet.
Thus all attachment points are reversible
