what do yall think of these wheels?

i have been looking at these for a long time now, and i wanted to see what yall thought about them

im considereing them in 15x6.5 with 40mm offset, and 16x7 with 40mm offset, but will probably go with 15's because of price. i have -se suspension on a gs, so i dont think the offset would be a problem. they are supposed to be "light weight" but not sure exact what they consider lightweight. i really like the way the spokes of the rim have a bend to them, and the aluminum lip.

anyways... opinions?

Those are pretty sweet, i dont suppose they offer ones that fit a non-se car.

they are adr rival's. they pop up every now and then on www.groupbuycenter.com. one of the companies said they can do 16x7 in the universal 4 lug, 40mm offset, for $400 shipped. but it just includes the rims/center caps. i think thats a pretty good deal

and no, they dont make em for the non-se cars.

if your interested, e-mail sales@gtwheelz.com and tell them you are from groupbuycenter.com, they will hook you up with what i discribed.

Thoes are sharp rims...

Now you need to GIMP (photoshop) them on to a pic of your car and get an Idea of how they will look...

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=246471

Swanky rims, you should get 'em, especially for 100 per rim, that's pretty cheap for new rims.

Check Ebay

I got my ADR rims on there new and cheap. Think I paid $250 for the whole set. There is quite a few Ebay businesses that all they do is sell rims

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43956

This set is "Buy It Now" for $275 with wheel locks and caps.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43955
If you don't like that color combo email the seller, I bet he has anything you would want for the same price.

I have not had any problmes with my rims, but I heard the ADR have a pretty weak finish on the rims. Soo stay away from harsh cleaners, power washers, and salty roads.

Splurge for the 16's, you won't be sorry (unless they're heavy-find out their weight first).

Yeah no gun metal....I think they have white or silver.

It's not about the enkei name...it's about quality. Those wheels originally were $250 each. ADR wheels are cheap becouse they are cheaply made (no offence to those who have them).

I like the adrs. someone should "gimp" them onto a car to show the group what they look like. Good find onepointone!

I had some very similar rims on my '93 Talon. They were Modern brand. The finish was very durable, and they had the same curve and lip that you like, except the lip wasn't shiny aluminum, it was all one color. They weren't exactly gunmetal, but they were a greyish tone.

You can kinda see them in this pic. It's the only one I have. My Ex-Wife now has the car in AZ.

I like my 15's alot. You can get really good performance tires for them dirt cheap. Unless you go with an all out racing slick type tire you are pretty much stuck with normal raod tires for the 16". With the 15's you a much better choice.
Main reason I went with the 15's was that Falken made Azenis Sports that where the right size. Sticky as heck, and drop the pressure a little bit and you have a halfway decent sidewall to help you get off the line. Air them up and head to the autox.
That and they are about $75 each

you can buy ANY tire, from road tire to racing tire in the 16" size.

the correct tire size is:

205/45/16

16's will look the best, but 15's give you a wide tire selection and all things being equal, they'll be lighter.

Sooo, it's a trade off.

Myself, I'm thinking of getting some 13x7 or 8 rims from www.diamondracing.com , they may not be pretty but they get the job done.
