soon i will be putting a 87-88 13b turbo motor from rotary shack into my 83 gs. i know that racing beat makes a Front Engine Mount for any 74-85 13b but what will i have to do to make them fit also will i have to get the circular side engine mounts as well or will they fit right in, if there is anything else i need let me know, thanx

Im not going to say what you should have done before you started this thread because i hate giving peeps hard time...

So here we go to get the block into your car your going to need the following..

1. gsl-se front oil cover
2. gsl-se oil pan
3. 13b motor mount into a 12a chassis<when you do this you don't need the side circular engine mounts anymore...

All three of those things are sold through mazda trix brand new or you can look for a used one on ebay or here on the forum

I looked through some of your other threads and I think some more research is in order. Alot of this has been covered

You need that racing beat/mazdatrix/Respeeds crossmember and a first gen front cover, oil pan off a GSLSE.

SE front cover is NOT required, only to retain the OMP. Otherwise a 12a one will do.

good threads

not special just the right combo...the teeth count on the shaft coming off the 12a tranny is a few less then the turbo...

Only retain the -SE oil pan cover if you do NOT plan on premixing. If you plan on premixing, then you can use a 12a cover. The only reason the -SE 13b front cover is retained (from what I hear) is that you will have all your OMP linkages for the OMP to work.
