A wire brush wheel, and a drill. Silver aluminum polished look.

Looks great.

Sure, it's been 5 months, but since he's a Texan, I'll answer this one...the high dollar caliper paint has more solids and is designed right off the start for the high temps a caliper can reach w/o discoloring. To use a regular auto spray paint would ensure baking and discoloration...you need to use high temp paint (like for a BBQ grill...) if you want to go that route, but the gloss doesn't hold up and the color choices are limited...
