Actully yellow make your car more nimble, good for street racing, red makes you have higher top end.

go figure huh?

I was re-reading over this thread ... and was wondering what's the difference between powdercoating and painting it? I mean is there one huge difference or does it just look better?

IOTus,

Hey man I'd say paint them black but really really glossy and the hub section of the disk silver.

Mine are glossy blue..... with the silver disks. Look amazing.

My reason for not picking silver on your calipers is because it'll be dirty all the time. Black suits your car and it's easy to keep clean.

Painted mine red (on a black SE) - looks good (IMO). It seems some prefer the rusted look.... probably because it blends in better with the rest of their car

go with automotive engine paint... it will stand up the longest with heat... don't know if you can find black, though.

wonder how this thread popped up all of a sudden?

A year later and no one ever answered Christi's question...so I won't, either......I imagine she's educated herself on the subject, anyway....

Eastwood has a great color range for calipers now and they are all specifically designed for braking systems and the heat of said systems....get a catalog...

Ha ha! Now I'm guilty of a noob transgression! A day late and a dollar short, I'm sure, for iotus, but here's the caliper color ad from Eastwood's latest catalog.....

LMAO at the notion of a thread asking what color to paint calipers generating 3 pages of responses and spanning a year.

It's the same Eastwood, I just get a catalog every month or so to entice me into buying the latest tool....usually works, too....

Also what is the diff between the high dollar caliper paint and just using auto spray paint?
