Well, so much for my custom A/C...

I had installed a high pressure air hose in place of my high (yes, high) side line, and when I was filling the system tonight, I forced the compressor to run by jumping it off the battery, and the fitting on my hack compressor discharge line blew off, so I'll have to now go out and buy a new set of hoses, which is a real bitch, 'cause they cost 90 bucks, as some of you might know, and i've alread checked the junkyard, and all of those cars have a different compressor.

Yup. Most rodders take their A/C off to save hp and weight, and a lot of them will still have the hoses hanging around. I might have one; what compressor do you have?

It's an '84 with the one-piece hose set (the one with a single block that contains both the high and low side pressure couplings that bolts onto the compressor). Thanks guys, I'd really appreciate it if I could buy a working pair from a forum member instead of paying a hundred bucks for new hoses and getting shafted in the process! PM or email me at kc0abh@hotmail.com if you have anything. Thanks again!

lol, well, so would i, except its my school car and we have a dumb *** female cop at our school, so the 80mph thing wouldn't go over so well, and i live in southeast Nebraska, which, I'm assuming (correct me if i'm wrong) gets substantially hotter than Washington.

I had T & I (Truck and Industrial) make 'em here in Owensboro. But I know Big River rubber and gasket makes **** like that all the time too.

They made my stainless lines for my oil cooler, these guys have everything!

Mike: Didi you have just the hoses made, or the fittings as well, or did you just give them the leaky hoses, and say "I need to have new hoses put on these fittings."?
