well im new here, one question ??
well as the thread title imply'd i am new here .
I have a question , i am in the hunt for a old school set of rim's for the first gen rx7 , i was thinking along the lines of maybe old ssr mesh wheels or somthing close to that , does anyone know where i could obtain a set of them . oh yes and one more thing , how do i achieve a really low stance on my car . i kinda wanna go for that low old school drifter look . any help would be good help , thanks , oh yes very nice website.

hey , i cant really help much on the rims, but if you lower your 1st gen too much it will ride like ****, i mean you'll damn near crash going around a corner quickly if you hit a bump or pothole because the shocks will bottom out severely, thus ruining the struts/shocks prematurely.
The one way to drop the car by an inch (I know, its not that much) without losing any suspension travel is the RacingBeat shock tower mod. it's a little labor intensive though. you just need a Sawzall and a drill.
