Welcome to our new Moderator

Let me be the first to welcome Directfreak as our 3rd moderator in the 1st gen forum. He has experience in one of the regional forums and I have already noticed some of his work here. The pic of a Master lock was a nice touch on a thread that needed to be locked the first day it was started.

For those of you who suggested my name as mod, I wish to thank you for the support and faith and hope you give Directfreak the same. I'm not sure if I would have the patience or diplomacy needed to be an effective mod. Besides, post ****** shouldn't be mods and I don't see myself cutting back anytime soon.

So let's all give Directfreak a 1st gen welcome, whether it be a thumbs up or a rasberry, I'm sure he will do a fine job.

congratulations, Alex. i'm not really sure of the process or the politics that goes into becoming a mod, but i kinda wondered why you never were one before. i've always liked your attitude and i know you've always been an asset to our community.

I saw his name on the mod list a few days ago, and I think he's already been doing some moderaction work. Good to see we have another person to bounce the free iPod threads and other BS.
