Weird clutch problem.
Ok, I'm not quite sure what's going on, but recently BOTH of my -SE's have developed the same problem.
After they have been sitting for a couple days you have to almost pump the clutch to get it to work normally. When you get in, it will engege right at the floor, but with a couple pshes of the pedal all is back to normal. Why is this? What's breaking? Or doe sthis have something to do with the fact that it's gotten hot as hell down here in the past couple weeks.
I wouldn't be weirded out, except for the fact that both cars have started doing the same thing within a matter of a week or two. Just an odd coincidence, or is that related?

might be a gremlin...
sounds like the clutch cylinder fluid might be low or have developed an air bubble. Either that or the master cylinder is binding.
When my master cylinder went it showed the same symptoms you described, then got progressively worse.
Hopefully yours is simpler as that wasn't a cheap fix.
