Water squirting and temp gauge

sup everyone. .

thanks for all the help so far (with my 84 gs) . .. (im new in the rx world. .)
really helpful. .

i got another problem tho. . .
after driving for 5-10 minutues. ..
i heard some noises from under the hood. . .
so i popped the hood, and i heard the noise coming out of the coolant tank resevoir (the tank connected to the radiator). ... and air (and some coolant) seems to be contuniosly bursting out of the top of the tank. . .


Whats wrong??? what do i need to do??

another thing. .. whats the normal temp in the gauge??
is it still ok. .if it touches the middle line point. . .(the line that is in the middle. . .but somewhat a little bit closer to the "hot" point) ?????

Replace your radiator cap as your existing cap is unable to hold pressure.

Your engine is running too hot. Normal needle position is about 3/8 of the gauge, just past the first hash mark of the 'normal' range. Along with a new cap, I suggest a new Mazda oem thermostat too.

nah, we dont need t-stat in Socal. Just gut the old one. This way, you can pin point why its overheating.
