Huh? The only freeze plugs are in the iron housings. Where are these holes exactly that you speak of?

Yeap weep holes, the reason they are pouring water out is cause the shaft seal is bad.

DO THIS AT YOU OWN RISK>
Old timer trick would be to add 2 tablespoons for brake fluid to cooland. This will cause the water pump seal to swell up.

Or, just replace the water pump.

someones been reading the manual...

have the same problem also...except its leaking from the very bottom bolt the one that actually a BOLT and not a NUT...

BTW, does anyone know if that bolt should have a lock washer or regular washer?

Removed it and just added a thin but good coat of silicone to try to seal it...no good still leaked. From the same area that the bolt was located.

Also, when you spin the pump is it supposed to "Spin Freely" like spin it and it keeps going or just spin and not hard "Resistance".

BACK TO THE TOPIC-

Just replace it .

I know that this is sort or off topic, but
When I replaced my water pump I found that it was incredibly hard to take off (because of the two additional pulleys for the ac and ps). It took about 20 minutes just to take it off.

yeah you kinda gotta "pry" it off the pulley, but not hard at all....just enough to get it past the pulley... one good tap should do the trick too..
