Unhappy Water leak in trunk? Or gas tank sloshing? Foggy windows suck.

When I am drifting, hard turning, or going over bumps I hear a sloshing sound in the rear of my car. I cant tell exactly where it is but it's in the rear. After rain, the carpet is damp in my car and the windows are always foggy. Is this a common problem or is my RX not being cooperative? Have you guys had any problems like this? Does your gas tank slosh?

Your spare tire well is most likely full of water. The drains in the rear get stopped up and the water goes into the rear area. There is a plug in the tire well that you can pull to let the water out. then clean the drains so It will not happen again.

that's what I read in all the other similar threads. Would a coat hanger work?

a wire clothes hanger will do. just be careful not to puncture the rubber tube that drains the water through the holes.

I take my tubes of (put down a towel first) and clean the drains in the body with whatever random paint safe solvent I have and then the same with the tubes. Seems to get them cleaner.

The place where the holes are in the channel is a bad place for rust to take hold, too. If you make sure and keep it clear of leaves and **** every time you wash the car, you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.

For clearing the lines, don't forget that compressed air can blast it right out. Do it from the bottom of the hoses and don't have anyone "up top" watching while you do it.

It's been a long time since I discovered that problem and my wheel well was 1/3 full and STINKING, too buddy
