Washer Light Keeps On Coming On

Hey Whats up,

For like two days every time I push my brakes while im driving the washer light come on and then shuts off. I checked the washer water reservoir and there is water in there. Does the light mean anything? Or could it be that the sensor is just having issues?

Thanks,

Mine does this, if its under 80% it's going to act like its empty every time I hit brakes. It's fine just old.

Why? That seems like the hard way of doing an easy job.

Unplug sensor on resevior, if the light goes on then jump the lead that plugs into the sensor. If it doesnt go on, then just leave it unplugged.

Its either on or off, the circut can only be open or closed.

Haha, yeah I hate that light. Your driving in a "spirited" manner, and then it's like, "Oh snap! what the hell was that red light?? Oil? Coolant? Alt? Exhaust?.... Oh - It was just the washer fluid!" They should have made that light yellow or something. Red seems so important.

Exactly. Just unplug it. The light will go off.
