Valves by gas tank??

Valves by gas tank??
What are those valves by the gas tank for? One is connected to the charcoal canister and the other is inbetween the fuel pump and the hardline that goes to the front of the car.
I'm cerious because I just ripped them out hehe

Those were the fuel cut valve (supply side) and a check valve (charcoal canister). You may notice a fuel smell outside of your car from loosing the check valve. You may experience an unpleasant gas leak and explosion after an accident from loosing the fuel cut valve. Have Nice Day!

actually, the fuel flow through the line is the same, but it is under much more pressure. You will still need an inertia fuel cut valve and the check valve from the charcoal canister. The easiest way to convert to fuel injection is to remove the stock fuel pump and put a check valve in its place. you then put your high pressure pump in the engine compartment at the end of the supply line. This makes your old supply line the suction line for your pump and it wont be damaged from the high pressure from the new pump. on the pressure side of the pump run high press. fuel line to where it normally hooks to the 13b. The old return line is still used for return on the new system. It is low pressure. Feel free to ask any questoins.

The fuel flow will be greater because of the extra fuel that a 375hp 13bt needs, don't you think?
Why would you put the high flow-pressure pump under the hood?? You would have that much more length of suction line that you would be working against you. (its' a lot easier on a pump to have more pressure after than it is to draw more vacume before)
I don't think that the tubing will get damaged by running higher pressure in it. (forgot to mention that I've got a fuel line from a -se that's a little larger than the 12a '83 one thats in there now that I may use)
What does the inertia fuel cut valve do exactly?
I do agree with keeping the check valve for the charcoal canister though...
I was thinking of routing the fuel system like this, tank-----pump------filter-----fuel rail-----regulator------tank.
