What did you cut the sheetmetal with?
Those are nice straight (and round) cuts.
Another recommendation - Use High intensity LED bulbs, instead
of the stock autometer ones. - Better lighting, less voltage drain.

the sheetmetal is 22guage mild, I brushed it with a wire wheel on a drill and then clearcoated it. I cut it with a pair of metal shears.
The radiator is a standard GM style 22x19x2in unit built by some noname company, I bought it through the champion I was working at.

yes, anouther big box of stuff, this time, from apt turbo.
Tial 50mm BOV
3in V-band setup
GM 3 bar map sensor
and the coupling for the air filter. (although I have been unsuccessfull is obtaining some 4in pipe so im using PVC for the meantime)
I also got my HKS clone 50mm Racing wastegate.
I was unsure about quality but for $160 I was willing to risk it. IMO the part is a decent quality piece and it appears to me manufactured by XS racing
I am extremely satisfied with the Tial BOV, quality of desing and machining is top notch.
I also decided to remove the passenger side mirror. there not required in MN and I could never keep it adjusted. I was even able to use part of the mirror for a cover.

another update soon.

here we go, got the BOV welded on and so far I am happy with the results.
I also got most of the Vacuum and PCV lines in place, and the haltech installation is now complete.
its pretty much ready to start, I just need to run a fuel return line and finish up a few last minute things. I will be sure to post a vid of the first start

To think I still remember when you got the IC off Ebay and I thought to myself "thats gonna be one ghetto setup", especially with the whole "I didnt even mount it, it just fit" song and dance I read way back in the day when you first put it in there, lol. No offense of course . I cant believe it turned into that, its beautiful!! I wish I could follow my dreams with my 83 and build it up...Damn county regulations.

That's all looking really cool...
I'm just wondering about one thing: those fuel lines that run to the rails, what size are they? And where did you get the Y-piece? I'm working on something simular, but have the lines/rails in series right now, untill I can find the right size Y-block. Your lines seem pretty large, so I guess what you have there must be adequate of pumping enough fuel through

where did you get rubber pipe like that for your intercooler? is that a cheap alternative to metal pipe. i dont have access to a mandrel bender so i want to do something like that.
also, can you explain what you did with the full ignition set up? im going to be doing a turbo swap into my fb, and im still in the dark about the ignition.

Bart, those y-blocks are made by NOS. I think they are an -6. Magnafuel have the same stuff available in an -8.
82streetracer, it's looking very good! I'm doing more or less the same thing with my '80. Will have pics soon.

the intercooler tubes are standard aluminized steel pipe, its been painted inside and out with high temp flat black paint. The rubber connectors are all PVC 2.5 connectors except the turbo inlet adapter which is silicone.
the ignition is pretty simple, the haltech uses the TII coils and CAS
www.hitman.hm has a great writeup on hooking a haltech to a TII motor.
