No, that would be weird after awhile tho because then everybody would have the same thing. What i like about rx7s is that nobody really knows what they are(especially first gens). They don't know what a rotary engine is either. There unique.

i think that gonzz's car was the nicest at SS9. it has widebody and TII motor. nice paint, original RHD SA22C and it didn't win best first gen.

so, good luck for next year, and keep up with the progress pics.

oh, as for the 1 piece, or 3 piece... hard to say. you want to keep it still looking like an FD, and an FD has body lines, and spaces where the bumper bolts up... Im trying to imagine what it will look like, but most likely more than 1 pc would look best IMO

Nope, we would not all wind up driving the same thing, I personally love the look of the 1st gen and wouldn't buy a FD look a like kit. Mariha is one of the few companies that do 1st gen kits and you don't see every one with their stuff.

Arent you going to end up spending about the same as you would for a decent used 3rd gen? I understand the wanting to be different thing, but your just copying something that already exists.... Well either way, great job, I like your quality of work. And it definately will be unique... Just not my thing..

Go DIAF: To say just "Ew" to this project is being very ignorant...look at the work that has been done to get it to this stage...sure the style might not be your thing but why even say anything. alot of work has gone into this project ..respect that at least
