Question unofficial Weber Q&A

There have been many questions about upgrading to a Weber... I know, I've asked alot of them, and many I've found answers to just by searching. I thought it might be cool if we just dedicated a thread to all things related to upgrading to a Weber, specifically in my case a 45 DCOE.

I have TONS of questions that still need answering, and hopefully in the next day or two I can offer some pics of what I've currently got going on. First of all, I have it on a manifold that I haven't seen on any boards or sites so far... Atkins, I think? I know it's painted the pretty Mazda blue. I had to run a custom accel cable around the engine bay and under steering stuff to the carb, then had to drill a hole in the throttle arm so that I could open it up all the way with the pedal. Had to drill a hole in the manifold for a fitting to go to the brake booster.

After all is said and done, I still don't have any more power than before. I'm sure it couldn't hurt to rejet, as it just has the stock ones in it now. I've been told that a new fuel pump might help too.

So here, I hope that we can share as much info as possible about this upgrade and how to get the absolute most out of it.
