Universal Muffler on FB?

hey just wondering about putting a universal muffler on an FB.Is there any problems with this i heard RX-7s use a different kind of exhaust.

Most non-specific (ie not made-for-rotary use) mufflers are not designed to take the sustained heat and abuse rotaries dish out to their exhaust. That's why the stock units are (a) so "over built" and (b) expensive to replace. Racing Beat's power-pulse muffler is generally regarded as The replacement muffler (as well as their complete systems). Best sound. bolt-on-no-mod fit. Looks pretty sweet too...
