turn in spacers

Need to find a source for turn in spacers. G force is no longer making them. New or used would work.

RE Speed already has them on their site. It says the 1" ones are on back order though. 1.5" is good in stock.

Those arent true turn in spacers, just roll center adjusters.

As far as I know, g-force engineering is the only place that carries the real thing.

The Gforce turn in spacers include an adjustment to compensate for ackerman (angle, or whatever it is). I haven't seen anybody else yet that does that. However, if Gforce is no longer making them, then maybe something can be done by Respeed?

We'll need Sam to answer that one...

I think I bought the last set of G-force spacers. I plan to use them to get additional ackerman with my Re-Speed rack set-up. You have to modify the strut bottom for them to work, I did not want to modify my original struts so I had to find some in the junk yard and them DGRR came along, maybe I will get it done soon..........

That is certainly something that we could do! We already have a steel version of them, not for sale currently but things will be revised properly and should hopefully have something up shortly. Will most likely be done out of a single CNC'ed Aluminum block though.

if you're looking for improvements i like how these have the lips on em, so that the bolts arent the only thing holding it together http://www.technotoytuning.com/media...cts/rca_02.jpg

those guys sell offset ones for the AE86, but i'm not sure what has to change to correct akerman, that's an advanced move!

To change the ackerman you have to change the angle of the steering knuckles relative to each other, the turn in spacers can accomplish this by offsetting the attachment points to twist or offset the knuckles. If you look closely at the G-Force spacers you can see that it is not just one hole that goes straight through but one set of holes from the top and another set of offset holes that go through the bottom, producing additional ackerman angle.

This will make an excellant steering system absolutey perfect!!!!!

Go ReSpeed!!!

I have the TechnoToy Tuning spacers and aside from the brake caliper mounting plate needing some grinding to fit they went on nicely. Nice color too, if only they weren't completely hidden. Haven't actually driven the car yet though.

Hi,

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone else have a set of G-Force Engineering Turn-In Spacers for sale.

Thanks in advance.
