Turn signals inoperative.
ok so when i bought the car it had an alarm installed. and turn signals worked fine... well. since then the alarm has casued many problems, so i decided to disconect it, after i did the turn signals stopped working... so today after many months saying to myself to get working on that problem i decided to completely pull out the alarm system... after about 2 hours... it was all ripped out and everything was re tapped and back to stock.. i was all excited cause i figured my turn signals would be working again... but... nope. it started raining so i came inside, to chat it up with the forum...any suggestions?

Well, the alarm system was likely wired into the turn signal lights so they could flash when the system was armed/disarmed and whatnot. Find yourself a wiring diagram, and follow the wires from the turn signal relay to make sure that they find their way out from under the dash where the alarm was installed in one piece. You can also check with a multimeter at the relay to see if the relay is getting power from the switch during operation.

ok well alittle tiny progress on this happened yesterday.... i found that the fuse for the turn signals was blown... but was not blown befor i cut out and ripped all the wires from the alarm sysem... thought it was the fix so i replaced the fuse.... while puttin gin the new fuse it sparked and blew.... so im thinking there is a ground missing somewhere.... though i also noticed a blue and white wire was completely cut near the drivers side door, and its ground wire was folded up and taped.... all the other wires that the alarm system were spiced in with no cuts.... so that also could be my problem.... im checking it out today.

thanks, iv been on there many times, but it just doesnt help me out... i have a cut wire set that comes out of a connector blue , and grey, but goes in the otherside a completely different color... if that makes any sense... its way under the dash above the fuse box... and im not even sure if that is my problem.... since an alarm system was installed, at least a dozen wires were spliced into... and honestly i can not follow that wire diagram... with these wires. this is soooo frustrating!!!!! i just want turn signals damnit! i need to get a multimeter, and do what 4port was saying.. i just dont hae one at the moment.. guess its time to go to harbor freight!!!

Front turn signals, rear turn signals and dash indicator lights are each grounded in different places, so that's probably not the problem. Do the hazzards work? Do the dash indicator lights turn on when you flip the turn signal? The wire for the left turn signal are Green with red stripe. Right side is green with orange stripe.
