Trimming Bump Stops
I just put in my 150 pound ISC Racing Rear Springs. The car sits low, really low. I like how it looks and since I bought their rear spring adjusters I can always raise it up but I have a few questions.
There is maybe 2 inches of travel before the bump stops hit, this doesn't seem normal to me, is it?
Is trimming the bump stops recommended?
If so how much maximum should I trim?
What is the best method to trim them?
Thanks guys

I trim mine, and others, 1/2-3/4" with standard lowering springs. I suggest you buy new stops to do this. The old ones are rock hard and can come apart when cutting. Hacksaw works well.

Thanks guys.
Are they a pain to remove or is it pretty straight forward. I didnt really look when I replaced the springs.
Also, does anyone know if the ISC Springs are supposed to lower the car this much? The rear wheels are tucked up in the rear fender.

Actaully, I think the springs are designed to use with the adjusters, so you can set the ride height to your liking. When combined with the front coilover conversion, they can also be adjusted to set the weigth balance of the car.
