Torque converter removal.

I need some advice on removing the torque converter from the flex plate. The auto transmission is already disconnected. Are their any special tools of anything cuz this is becoming a big pain.

Another thing is I can turn the motor over with not much effort via the flex plate. Could this indicate low compression?

Thanks in advance.

Tq

Ideally you pull the TQ with the trans so you do not mess up anything.
You turn the engine to gain access to the bolts.

if I recall correctly, there was like 4 or 6 bolts on the engine side of the torque converter. You can access them easily with a regular wrench. I had a buddy hold another wrench form the other side to make sure that it didn't spin as I was trying to take them out. Once the bolts are out though, all you do it slide it out. It might need a couple of taps to break it loose but it will slide out. Also just a hint, there will be some fluids left in there so don't pull so hard and spray yourself

Ya haha. I got it out and flex plate off too. Trying to figure out the wiring for the manual now.

wiring for the manual? Isn't just the reverse light switch? I don't recall of anything else besides that and the starter wiring, but thats the same.
