i looked into doing AGX's, um compared to the AE86, the FB is way shorter, but the same diameter.
or we use REAR MR2 shocks as an upgrade
i did post all the infoz i found
i think they use this shock combo in japan, but its hard to tell
the rear is simpler, so all my research is for the front

but the FB struts are the same length (or close enough) to the 84-88-89 mr2, the early one.
so if they have HTS's for the REAR of the early mr2, then you're good.
and the Rx7 uses the same length tube from 81-85. the 79-80's are longer by an inch or two

I found some useful size info

No, you use the Mr2 rear struts for the Rx7's front struts. The Rx7's rear shocks are a whole different animal. The rear Rx7 shocks are nothing like ones on the Mr2, they are similar to what is on the AE86. I have heard of Hachi Roku guys running a competition Camero rear shock as it's designed for a heavy car with high spring rates. I'm not sure what year but i'm guessing the Mk2 or Mk3 Camero.
and besides I've heard the HTS is actually softer than the illumina, so wouldn't we be working backwards here?

sam just posted shock dyno's, they are actually a really good match for the springs we run in the rx7's...
