Just a note on tire treadwear ratings...They vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and set their own stardards on this to Government complainces. Say Toyo (a Japanese make) has a 200 treadwear rating and Pirelli (Italian) has a 200 rating, they are NOT equal. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/utqg.htm

RacerX7fb thanks for the FYI. I was never aware of that. It's good to know.
I've made my decision and going with the Azeins for $50.

TIRE AVAILABILITY
I have also been looking for some VR rated tires to fit my GSL SE (205/60vr14) but I am told that VR's are not made in that size and I believe it after an exhaustive search. Unfortunately the Yoko. AVS Intermediates were discontinued for all sizes in the past year per a call to the company and a Tire Rack search. I guess I will have to go down to an H rated tire as all of the W's are too slick for road use especially in the rain. The rotary spins enough in the rain without compounding the problem. I am going to look at some Michelin Pilots. I long for the days of the Michelin MXVll's. Changing to 15" rims is just not an option as I want to keep the rare OEM snowflake rims, but I am running out of options.
