my 205/60's were real close to the front spring. when i put on the RB springs they were too close for comfort so i went to 195/60 front 205/60 rear. didn't change the handling any since the rear lets go first anyhow. btw, the 195/60's do not rub at full lock.

the 205/60's fit OK on the factory 5.5" waffles on the SA, and had no fender clearance problems whatsoever and were a good half-finger away from the struts.
Only problem is that 205/60 is kinda fat for such a narrow rim. There isn't enough sidewall support and the tires can buckle under easier. This can be fixed somewhat by cranking up the pressure but then you'll wear out the center of the tread in about 5k. I found I could get best wear by running 22-24psi in the front and 20-22 in the rear, but then it would feel kinda sloppy when on transitions... but I tell ya, that thing was like a kart around hard corners, with such low tire pressure the tires didn't grip and it was VERY progressive, go through corners in a true 4-wheel drift (not "drifting") with ease.
I also have 205/60 race tires on 13x7 wheels with a zero offset. These have about an INCH or more of strut clearance, stick out a lot more than factory wheels. They pulled the front fender lips out once when I hit a rut at 60 or so MPH but the suspension nornally doesn't compress that far. (Who in their right mind would put a rut in the infield? )
