Tire help
I have BFG COMP T/A 205/60R13 tires on my "+" style rims on my 80SA. I was strapping the car to a tow dolly today and noticed that there was JUST enough room between the tire and coil spring to slide the strap through. I am switching out the coils to put RB springs in, is this going to make the same gap or change it at all? Is this normal, or am I going to have to get wheel spacers for it?

The RB springs are the same outside diameter as the stock springs. you shouldn't have a problem with the RB's rubbing. That space is normal considering how much wider those tires are than stock. Where did you get your tires? I didn't know anyone other than Hoosier and Sumitomo made any that would fit the stock wheel.

Thanks for the info. Actually I bough the tires somewhat used. They only had about 500kms on them so they were basically brand new. The guy I bought them from said that he had some sort of contact through his work t be able to get them. He was doing a 350 swap on his car and couldn't get any traction with a 13" tire so he sold them to me. I don't think that BFG makes them anymore for the general public, just for certain spec racing. I would love to find another set though.

The comp t/a 205/60-13 is only made for legends series, as that is their spec tire. I have a source for used tires, but nothing in new.
As for the 205/60-13 and "+" wheels combo on an SA, my buddies 79 will actually get a little bit of rubbing on the lowest coil, against the edge of tread, under hard braking (track day braking). Never enough to cause any problems, though. The only issue he ever encountered with that combo, was eating up a set of pads after about 4-15 minutes sessions.
I believe the SA wheels had slightly more offset, and I know the SA spring perches were slightly lower. RB springs should offer the same clearance, and a bit more resistance to the spring compressing far enough to allow for tire contact.
