TII wiring harness + gsl wiring harness?
to do a TII swap with the TII ecu and wiring harness, do i have to splice some wirers from the TII wiring harness to the GSL wiring harness? if so which wires do i need to put together?

Here ya go!
This should be a big help.

This is a full wiring setup to install an S4 Turbo 2 into a GSL-SE. Some small modifications will be needed to go into your GSL but for the most part this should do it.
Let me know if you need help.

p.s. I have since done the infamous 2nd gen "fuel pump re-wire" to get full voltage to the pump. Basically added a dual relay and ran 2 12 gauge wires thru all the way to the pump--works great.

all i can see from a quick observation that would be affected by a swap, is the engine temp wire, alternator, and the ignition wires. the rest of the harness is either gone, or leading to the front end. so are there more wires that need to tap into the FB harness from the TII engine?

Looking at the pin-outs...
ECU #1 plug: water temp, clutch switch, heat hazard switch
FEM-02 plug: A/C + P/S relay (X-07), main relay
The engine harness's completely swap with no problem. It's the front harness that is the most difficult.
If you are serious about doing it this way, I suggest you take time and study the diagrams. The pin-outs are pretty easy, just start one pin at a time and follow it on the schematic--it should match up. Notice the color coding of the diagrams
Basically you need to be able to at least read the schematics. This is the way people explain how to do wiring. If you have questions, be specific--I can answer anything except wide open questions.
This is by far the cheapest route to get an EFI Turbo 2. It works very good. I have been driving it since January and not a single problem. Only thing I haven't tested is the A/C stuff and it is minimal.
I just looked at the 12a schematics and they are very different from the 13b. You will need a main double relay and it looks like most of the wires terminated at the 12a ECU. So if your pins are the same as the T2 ECU, you can just swap out the right pins. I'll look at it some more later.

i have lt8 and ltx8 new for 800 each complete with harness, fuel pump relay, and manual.
wiring the microtech is so easy its almost idiot proof
the thing is you are open to any upgrade you wanna do in the future, like me i went from stock turbo to to4 60-1 and all i had to do is take to the dyno again. :-)

do you have a screenname i can talk to you about this on? i was wondering since you've wired this up before you could explain how to do the ignition for a turbo 1st gen. it says you need four bosch coils for this.
