TII tranny in FB
I've been considering doing a TII swap in my FB and I'm wondering about the transmission. I know it's a good idea to swap in a TII transmission with the TII engine. So If I found a wrecked S4 or S5 TII and swapped the engine and transmission, would the shifter line up in the right spot in an '85 FB?

No, it wont line up. But you can use the shifter housing from the FB tranny on the FC tranny to make it work. You will have to shorten the shifter linkage a bit.
