Want to see the aftermath of a spun stationary bearing? Also a little oil starvation, for good measure? https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ighlight=Hayes

thanks everyone for keeping the home fires burning
I have not gotten to it yet.
So many different projects
I have a 91 N/A engine that needs to be put into a car and checked out
I may pull the present engine and put the 91 in for now.
I also have a 79 and a 83 12a engine that needs to be checked out
same thing.
presently I have taken an OEM exhaust off an 85 gs with gslse suspension and RB springs illumina shocks and 16 " wheels ( handles like on rails ) and am installing RB 12a header and fabing a center section with flanges and hangers to fit to this and an existing rear muffler. learning to stick weld with 1/16" rod.
The 91 engine is meant for this car.
also have an 85 gsl that I need to get to and look over with I think alot of rust need front fenders, black. planed for a winter beater this coming season
Its time to get a secure garage that I can put a lift into.
anybody know of one NW of Baltimore?
theres more just wanted to give an update as I see this thread is still active.
I hope to have the engine in question pulled and out of the car before winter comes and get into it over the winter. Buy or fab something to accurately measure oil pressure and knowing me if I dont see an immediate fault with the engine I will tear it all the way down and catalog every measurement , then put it back together so I know it is right.

If the clutch isn't disengaging, couldn't this be something as simple as a bad slave/master cylinder?!?!
When I first bought my car (it had a bad slave) it would stall with the clutch depressed because it wasn't disengaging.
