When my car isn't on, key out and all and i remove the cable from the post there is a little spark there and when i touch the cable to the post there is also a little spark. The fuel pump might not be working. When you turn the key to the on position the fuel pump should come on. Turn it on and go to the rear of the car, rear left tire. close to there you should here the pump. If nothing, pump is bad

Sounds like you have an electrical item drawing power from the battery. It cant be the fuel pump if the ignition is off and it still causes a spark. Do you have an after market alarm system installed?
