This brings me to antoher question. Are those J-spec motors you see on ebay any good? Has any one ever had one? Sry dont mean to thread jack, But I wanna know

ok is there really any differance between the j spec 12a's and the US ones.......and im talking Na to Na....any HP differances??

yea, the j-spec made like 130 ish, had slightly bigger ports, and not so strict on emissions

130 is only for the 6 port version (81~85)..... the 4 port version (78~79) made the same as the US version did. There was an Odd ball year (1980) that came out with 4 port, and electronic ignition but it was only like a 10 or 15 hp jump.
