Tail light covers anyone know where i can get some for 83 rx7

looking for the tinted taillight covers for my 83 rx7, taillights look like **** now that the car has been painted and new lights are ridiculously overpriced.

tail lamp lenses

Have not seen them made for probably 12 years now. You can try an experiment,
Go down to the local parts store and purchase some adhesion promoter for plastics, it helps the paint stick to the plastic. Get some spray tint that is made for
windows, make sure you clean the lenses thouroughly with rubbing alcohol to clean them befoore spraying the adhesion promoter. If it works, post it and we will
try it if it turns out ok. rx7doctor

you can try VHT Nightshades also. It is a transparent black paint. You can get it from Summit Racing and probably some local parts stores. The directions are on the can. I think if you put an Acrylic Clear Coat on afterwards it saves the paint from being scratched and keeps it in mint condition.
