![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
what are some of the problems i would have if my fuel pump was on its way out???
i got some problems which i thought were electrical but that all seems fine now.. and it shoulds like my engine isnt getting enuf fuel.

have you checked the fuel output, pull off the large inlet hose from carb put the end in a container to catch/measure output (one nearest firewall) crank engine for few seconds, also could just be your fuel filter, they clog up at times,,,,mine did,,,,good luck

It sounds like your pump could be going out the same way as mine.
One day I got in the car, put the key in the ignition, but they was no clicking sound from the rear (the fuel pump wasn't working). I thought the problem was the pump's plug under the rear seat, because when I cut that plug out and soldered the wires together it started going again.
But it was only a short term fix. Bascially, the pump would work fine one day, and then not go the next. I thought it was a wiring problem, but the pump was just stuffed. I replaced it and have no probs now.
