Question suspension rebuild questions for gsl-se

Alright, the front of my car is sagging so bad the it's chewing up the edges of my new tires, so I guess it's about time to rebuild the suspension. My se still has all the original 1984 shocks, springs, bushings, ect...

Here's what I'm already planning to replace-
-shocks all around(blues)
-springs all around(suspension tec)
-full sway bar kit ( suspension tec )
-idler arm assembly
-front strut tower bar

I'm going to be getting all this stuff at the same time, and just put it all on at once. My goal is to have my 7 be able to out corner 9.5 out of 10 cars on the road. My question is, sense I'm doing this, I want to do it right, and I only want to do it once. What am I leaving out? What else should I get, or what else needs replacing? Why? Thanks for any imput!

man, and I thought it was bad that my '92 Civic still has its original suspension.

I would change the bushings everywhere, not sure exactly what's involved, but try suspension techniques, they sell them for I think most cars. Change to polyurethane bushings (usually sold in a red color)

The single best improvement I did to my suspension was TIRES, good sticky tires.

you can do all the suspension stuff you want, but if you got cheap Pep Boys specials on the rims, it ain't going to be worth it.

Also spend the xtra now and get the 5 way shocks and struts, or you will kick yourself later, trust me, I know my butt still hurts, hehe

I would think if just the edges were getting tornup, would that be improper air pressure?

I've also heard the ST springs dive to much on braking, they are more of a lowering spring than a performance spring.

And on a final note. I and many others have removed the rear sway bar when upgrading the shocks and coils to curb the tailspin in these cars.

Yeah go for the adjustable struts/shocks

a bigger front bar might be a better choice than disconnecting the rear one.

do not for get to check/replace the steering and lower contral arms/ball joints!

scrapping the watts linkage and going with another setup seems to be the way to go.(trac bar or panhard rod)

get a racing beat strut tower bar as they triangulate the support to the firewall.

my best advice would be to find someone with a first gen with a suspension and ride/drive it too see if you like that setup or if the springs are to stiff/trac bar to noisey, ect

just my $.02
hope this helps
