Suspension questions

1)
I cant seem to find any rear strut tower braces for the 1st gen rx7, anyone know where I can find one?

2)
Has anyone tried to put a harness bar/chassis brace behind the seats(going between the door frame on each side)? if so can someone send me a link or pictures.

3)
My 7 does not drive straight what so ever the wheel is at nearly a 1/16 rotation from center when the car is driving straight. It doesnt handle awkward that I noticed. Im sure alignment would help, but wouldnt it be plausible that something was broke in the front end and what would I need to look for? If so what should I check and look for?

Thankyou for the help. Im new to rx7s and am starting with a rust bucket, but I love it.

I would start with #3 before working on the others. If you're going to be drifting, autoxing, roadracing whatever, the suspension needs to be up to par. I have no idea what you mean by 1/16 rotation from center. Take the car to an alignment shop and let them find out what's out of spec. Let us know what they find and we can go from there.

My steering wheel sits 1/16th off as well, but it is an aftermarket one and the hub is designed that way. If yours is stock, then and alignment is due.

2. A harness bar for a AE86 should fit and they are every where on eBay.

3. A steering wheel will sit rotated funny if the car needs an alignment. That should fix it all.

I wouldnt really define any thing as fawked. Most things can be fixed and Im pretty sure steering is something that can.

Alignment is out. $50 at an alignment shop no problem. I've never seen any rear strut bars. Could probably fab one from a front strut bar. As for the harness bar, you may just want to go full cage, depending on use for the vehicle
