i was looking to run this setup but didnt want to buy a supercharger new. if anyone has a used one i could get for cheaper id like to try it out. i was wanting to do a bridgeport or large street port with the camden but from what im reading u cant do that? what is the reasoning behind those two things not working together? i dont want the complexity of the turbo setup so thats why im leaning towards this...

They pop up in the for sale section on occasion. I check the FC section.

I need a new user title
My current non-intercooled blow-through stock S5 turbo setup is more powerful at 6 PSI than my old 7" Camden setup was at 9 PSI on the same engine, and the low-end feels pretty much identical. It's not a perfect comparison because my exhaust was too small for the supercharger, but my turbo setup is hardly ideal either, and I'm actually running less aggressive timing now. Once I get some issues sorted and crank up the boost, it should absolutely destroy the old supercharged setup in every meaningful metric except for ease of installation. (The turbo setup required a fair amount of engineering, creativity, and fabrication, and I'm still working the kinks out; by contrast the Camden blower kits are nearly bolt-on and very straightforward to install).
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

No, I wish I did. I didn't use the supercharger for that long, and I never made it out to a dyno. But it definitely feels more powerful now. The turbo setup has this huge lump of midrange power that the supercharger couldn't match. I have a feeling that the 7" Camden wasn't really within it's efficiency range with the -7 pulley, but go much smaller and you're going to have to start thinking about chemical intercooling, especially with NA rotors. My theory is that the 5" Camden with a smaller pulley, like a -9 or -10, might yield better results for a basic street setup.

I have both the 5 and the 7". Haven't tried the 5" yet. I have used and own all pulleys (6,7,8,9,10). Currently running the #9 running 12 lbs boost and methanol injection in the lower intake. Huge midrange vs the #7. Gonna have to do a new video one of these days.

The Big Ugly!
No updates here, money is hard to come by being that I'm unemployed. Does anyone else have a cooler within thier systems. I'm going to have to get together with some other supercharged guys & see what different ideas we can come up with.
