Hell yes my friend, 160 horses - a modest guess i think. Nice job that is the ****, not sure about camden but nice result. The strut bar......I need one but from where? just like yours will do where are they selling those? To all the fans of turbos, wouldn't you like to be boosting at idol? The s/c is the go! That setup should be good for 250-300hp with a good tune, what fun- bring on the hondas

HEAT
With Straight Methanol injection or Water/Methanol Misting for intercooling, that is Probably the only way 250WHP is possible with a 7inch Camden. With lack of intercooling, the heat just robs power. Running an overdrive pulley will give oddles of low end boost, but the top end heat will destroy (literally) the supercharger, or at the least, you will see no gains in power. Port matching and flow directing the lower manifold is another option.
Camden still has a long way to come before big numbers can be expected.

Does Camden make their own S/C or is it from another company, like Eaton, and they just make the kit ??? Also does anyone know the flow rate vs boost, and HP used vs boost created???

camden is own by atkins rotary and yes they make their own sc , the boost produce by the camden as as low as 6 psi or as high as 12 psi on the stock pulley , if you change pulley size higher boost, but like Alak said the produce massive heat so like i suggested on the first page water methanol injection is the solution for the heating issue also porting the intake manifold makes better gains.

But I want to know how efficient They are, I'm trying to decide between a custom kit or a camden one..... But I can't find out much about the camden ones so I can actually compare then to other superchargers, like what kind of flow they provide under a certain amount of boost and how efficient they are at creating boost.

well what are you planning to run along with the charger? are you going carburated or fuel injected ? fuel injected with a side draft style throtle body like code blue's car should net you around 225 whp on 6to 7 psi and if you run up your psi more power you make.

The car is slick, good job man. Definitely a solid sleeper if you only street port it! I like the wheels for some reason too, they seem to go well with the car while not being too flashy.

I will be doing a methanol injection soon, I just need the funds. and mabye a FI down the line. And I will be doing a street port or a extended port when I do get a rebuild. So I think I am in good standing where I am.
Oh yeah the drivability is great, not much diferent from a NA untill I get on it. Love the sound, told it sounds like a fighter jet flying by =)

Just had mine at the dyno the other day (supercharged 13B 4-port streetport). HP = 190.66 Torque = 135.04
Not what I expected...regardless, it's fun to drive....I'll send picks and dyno sheet when I'm home.

Bridge Ports arn't so good from what I've heard because the overlap screws around with the supercharger. It responds differently. Is there more power to be made? I dont know because the 12A BP thats supercharged around here is still under break in. His last pull was 160HP and 135TQ with -10 Pulley at 10PSI on the old skool Camden.

Hey!
I'm just looking at this from the second generation section and just wanted to say some things I've heard about the charger to add to this conversation:
I was told that the Camden doesn't like to be spun past 8400 RPM, where some streetports and alot of bridgeports like to live.
Has anyone tried water injection on a Camden application? I'm just curious how that would do.
What rims? (To the poster)

I strongly suggest you loose the air filter, I have one, not any more. It's not even worth the $16 edelbrock wants for it, and the element doesn't flow any air. you can put a air hose on 1 side and bearly feel it on the other. All that in addition to the fact it is a HUGE risk, all it takes is 1 backfire and you can loose your motor!
backfire causes the element to catch fire, it melts into the motor... I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

That air filter is nothing but trouble! Poor flow at high end plus it has a tendancy to let a lot of dirt in which will screw up the s/c housing and wear the seals (trust me on this, you should see the inside of my buddies camden!). Go to a speed shop and get a 14" gm hei offset air cleaner base (see pic) and a 2 1/4" k&n air filer along with a cheap 14" chrome lid or better yet the k&n high flow lid. Which edelbrock are you running?? (thunder series or not and what cfm). I have a 650 thunder series. And, you s/c pulley is too small, I actually "lost" boost with the little one. What number is on it?? (-7, or -8, or -10??). The camden works best all round with a -7. I agree with 680whp about the msd, I am currently having my lower intake modified and may be going with meth as well.
