Unhappy Suddenly won't start

All of a sudden, my 79 RX-7 would not start this morning. It's completely stock, 51,000 miles, and I've never had any starting problems. When the starter is engaged, it fires and acts like it'll run fine. But as soon as I release the key to disengage the starter, it dies.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Rich

I think the 79's have points, check to make sure one isn't broken or closed.

Thanks for all the hints, guys. I found the problem. I had an intermittent fuse. I replaced it yesterday, but apparently the one I put in had corroded ends from sitting around so long. All is fine once again.

Thanks,
Rich
