stupid noob question

what the hell does the front cover look like? Does anybody have a pic of one taken off the engine? I know what does (mountings and stuff.... thats all I know) but could someone help a no nothing 17 yearold here?

its metal like, wide at the bottom and gets smaller as it goes up. it holds the oil metering pump, the oil pressure regulator, has the timing mark that sticks out. oh and on first gens it holds the mount btw i dont have a picture of one just sitting around..

well basically i have a modified 89 one in of three boxes with a bunch of other parts... i just have no idea what it looks like...lol

AHHHHHHH!!! I just posted an answer, then it double posted, so I edited the first one to say "double post" then it took away BOTH...Damn it, lol.

Anyway, its the front most part of the engine where the OMP, water pump, and stuff mounts. Its also where the motor bolts to the4 cross memeber thingy...Id take a pic if I was at my other house .

Here is a pic borrowed from www.rotaryengineillustrated.com showing the parts of a 13B including the timing cover at the front.

I recommend going over to the site and having a look, it's full of usefull info.
