Tks. for sharing that info. about your exhaust. I saw an R-100
once with a setting like that but wouldn't ask the owner about
it 'cause I didn't have time. I have also thought about the
license plates flipping, sounds crazy, but it's a good idea. I have
a heavy foot.

I have a switch for my fuel pumps, but it isn't a kill switch. It's used for switching between my street pump and my race pump. Heh.
I remember one guy posting pictures of his hood release. He left the stock one in place as a dummy, but he hooked up a working one up underneath the steering column. Like, where the brake pedal is but up behind the plastic of the steering column/dash. I thought that was really cool.

Rollin' coal and 53mpg!
The guy I bought my 85 from had a cheapass alarm on it, that had a starter kill in it. The alarm and the clusterfuck of wires got thrown away, and then, the car wouldn't start anymore. So, we kinda hot wired it, and found the wire that triggers the solenoid on the starter, went to wal-mart, bought a push-button starter, and wired it all up. now the key just functions the ignition, but it won;t start unless you use the button! (well, it would start a lot easier if the motor in it worked)
